Our Berlin office is located in an old locomotive factory in Berlin-Mitte, in close proximity to Friedrichstraße. In 1885, Chausseestraße was known for its iron foundries and machine factories, and was therefore named "Land of Fire.” Today, it is known as a "think tank" with stylishly renovated factory buildings.
Berlin vibrates; it is lively and inspiring. Here, transformation is lived out, East meets West and vice versa. Like no other city in Germany, it attracts trend-setters and talents. Here, there is room for experiments - in creative heads and on old factory floors. More than 22,000 businesses from the sectors of literature, games and IT, film, music, design, advertising, architecture and art ensure an annual turnover of nearly 18 billion Euro in Berlin. Thus, the share of the Berlin gross domestic product of the "creative class" is at 21 percent. Welcome to the Creative Capital... 'The Place to Be'.
Our office in Beijing is located in the centre of the Chinese Capital. Right in the financial district, we are in the middle of the action and quickly on site for our clients.
Beijing is regarded as a political and cultural centre. The city is thousands of years old and has been the capital for various dynasties for over 800 years. While Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai have been regarded as creative centres for some time, Beijing is catching up fast. Film and TV production is taking up more than 50% of the country-wide production. Of more than 3300 historical cultural sites, six of them are on the World Cultural Heritage list of UNESCO. Already in 2006, Beijing boasted more than 130 museums as well as 77 universities and high schools. "Beijing is the national centre for politics and culture, therefore the conditions for the development of a cultural and creative industry are better than in any other city in the country", said Prof. Chen Shaofeng, vice director of the "Cultural Industry Institute" at the Peking University.
